We are blessed to have such wonderful Pets at our farm. Each of them have special jobs,  They are the working cats & dogs of the farm. Sawga on top is my daughters cat. She is a indoor/outdoor cat. She spends the days outside and at night she cuddles with my daughter keeping her warm and company.

 

Tasha is our farm dog, a sweetheart that loves everyone you can always find her with something in her mouth for you to throw so she can chase. Some day we will have another dog but not untill we get our fencing in some more.

 

Susie is the cat below to the left, the black and white cat. She is a sweetie and a great hunter. She and her brother can bring down a squirrel in a tag team. Pumpkin the orange cat curled up on my unmade bed is the indoor cat. She is the oldest cat we have and enjoys eating and sleeping, she does not hunt so her main job is to be pretty for the family and greet guest as they come in. Her daughter is down below her furby. She is the best hunter that I have and will bring down a squirrel on her own and any other rodents that come near our farm. Boycat thats the pretty white cat in my pot was a bit wild at first but he has come to be a real sweety now.

 

All my cats help keep things off our farm that could get into things including squirrels, mice, ground hogs, and snakes

 

 

Vet-For shots a lot of cities set up times and places where volunteer Vets come in for little or no cost: Ours here in Texas is called SNAP

 

Try contacting a college with a Veterinary major to see if they offer discount.

 

If your in the Military a lot of times its cheaper to go there then off base.

 

If your a senior or disabled in the Texas Bexar County area try

 

Ask your vet if you have more then one pet if you can get a discount if you bring them all in.

 

If its a stray tell your vet that they might offer a discount

 

Invest in a pet medical book and do a lot of minor things yourself.

 

Buy in bulk quantities at discount pet superstor
